- Floral Perfumes for Springtime...

Guess what guys?
It's now lighter for 3 more minutes each day!

No, I never thought I'd turn into that person either, but that's how excited I am for Spring.

When you notice daylight shining through the office gone 5pm, you know things are going to be okay.

Dramatic? Me?

With Spring on the horizon and Valentine's Day been and gone I thought I'd do a blog post on my current favourite perfumes, which both happen to be on the floral side of things. I'm definitely one who opts for floral, woody fragrances so if this sounds like you too, read below for more!

Elie Saab Le Parfum
I happened to win this in Escentual's Twitter giveaway over the Christmas period and couldn't be happier to have it in my collection. Since using a teeny-tiny sample months & months ago, I've been pining after the full-sized version.

With notes of orange blossom, jasmine absolute, patchouli and virginia cedar, this scent couldn't be more up my street. It's certainly a strong scent and probably more of an evening option, but I'm one who prefers to use a smaller amount of a strong scent during the daytime to ensure it lasts - all you need is one spritz of this to shield you from the fusty underground *shudders*!

Stella McCartney Stella Eau de Parfum
This Stella perfume has a place in my heart. It's been my number one scent for years now, since falling in love with their limited edition 'Print' bottles (throwing it back to 2014). My friends know it as 'my scent' (I'm aware of how weird that sounds but you know what I mean) and it's one that makes me smile whenever I catch a waft from my scarf.

There's a slight hint of citrus combined with fresh English roses, so you'd be right to assume it's a fresh, light scent, however, this again is more of an evening choice. But I, again, wear it in the daytime. Rules are there to be broken, amirite?!

Have you tried either of these? Let me know your favourite perfume in the comments below!

  1. I've not tried either of these before so I'll have to have a spritz next time I'm in Boots! I don't know if I have a preferred scent type, I think I like all different ones!

  2. I absolutely love that it's almost bright as I walk to work at 7am each day (I absolutely hated walking in the dark). Love the fragrance picks you have here, they sound lovely x

  3. I've honestly never heard of these fragrances or seen them... The one in the purple bottle looks amazing though I like pretty perfume bottles.

  8. I'm so happy that Spring has finally sprung, too! I always usually choose sweeter, fruitier fragrances for S/S, but I think my taste has started to change as I've been loving more floral scents recently! Stella is such a classic :)
