- Degustabox: June'16...

It's time for another Degustabox*, and this time it's BBQ themed! During the rare doses of sunshine that sporadically hit the UK everyone rushes out to have a BBQ, so this is a perfect theme now we're in the midst of Summer!

If you're new to my blog and not heard of Degustabox before, it costs just £12.99 (inc. delivery) for a selection of 9-14 surprise food and drink items, most of which are new to the market.

As always, Degustabox have kindly provided me with a discount code to share with you: simply type 'BLDEG15' when registering to get £7.00(!!!) off! It used to be £6 but they've increased it even more!

So let's see what they have to offer this time around...

Heinz Amoy, RRP: £1.99
Sacla, RRP: £2.79

Coconut milk and pesto = two cupboard essentials! One of my favourite dishes to cook is a thai green curry so this coconut milk will be perfect. I also love Sacla as a brand. When it comes to pesto, it's definitely worth paying a little more in my opinion.

Haywards, RRP: £1.89
Schwartz, RRP: £1.49
Branston, RRP: £1.65

This is the perfect group of goodies for a BBQ. I can't wait to see what the burger mix turns out to be like; American Smokehouse sounds perfect though. And topped with the spicy tomato relish with tangy silverskins on the side...mmmm...

Destrooper-Olivier, RRP: £1.10
Bakedin, RRP: £1.50

Continuing the "mmmm" moment with this Belgian Butters - yummy thin 'biscuits' to go with your afternoon cuppa to get you through the 4pm slump. The Bakedin Mug Brownie wins for convenience but was tiny, which shouldn't be allowed when it comes to brownies, AMIRITE?!

Butterkist, RRP: £1.69

Butterkist have released yoghurt coated popcorn, say wuttt?! Okay, so I'm not actually the biggest popcorn fan but I enjoy this idea and might just have to try it myself rather than save it for guests...

Smooze, RRP: £2.50

I love the coconut Smooze ice lollies, and now they've got a fruity twist! This mango and coconut flavour is even more refreshing than the originals and would finished off a BBQ perfectly!

Marstons, RRP: £1.70

Lastly, a can of King Star lager - a really light, refreshing drink- and one I enjoyed after a hectic day at work!

This month's box didn't exactly 'blow me away', but it's still a high scorer and I'd say Degustabox have tackled the Summer BBQ theme wonderfully! What do you think of this Degustabox? Don't forget, you can receive your first box for just £5.99 using the discount code above!

  5. For a BBQ theme box, it is pretty boring and I wouldn't be happy with it at all. The only two products that caught my eyes were the pesto and coconut milk.
