- Sunday Summary: Outings in London & Fitness Update...
Fairly often in the blogging world, I come across bloggers apologising for their absence/lack of posting (and I'm definitely guilty of this myself), so I wanted to say a big "yay" to myself for actually sticking to posting twice a week. I haven't done one of my summary/lifestyle type posts lately which seems odd as I've been super busy so have plenty to share, therefore I thought I'd give you a snippet of what I've been up to lately. I've managed to spend weekends exploring various places in and around London, so if you're looking for recommendations feel free to have a nosy. WHIPSNADE ZOO: I'm definitely a big kid when it comes to zoos; they instantly take me back to my childhood and there's just something about seeing animals happily playing. I hadn't been to Whipsnade before and was surprised at how big it is, the animals had plenty of room to roam around in and looked well after. It was such a windy, cold day, but I kind of like how the grey skies look against the aqua penguin pool *thinking of the positives whilst I was cold to the bone*. RICHMOND PARK: In complete contrast to the weather above a heatwave decided to strike London a week or so afterwards, so out came a picnic and maxi dress. Me and Rob spent a wonderfully sunny Sunday lounging around in Richmond Park, and I managed not to get burnt! I bought this beautiful maxi dress from H&M a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. The print and style is just perfect. HAMPSTEAD HEATH: The sun shone again last weekend so we decided to explore Hampstead Heath, a place I've been meaning to visit for a while now. I'm always so surprised at how many stunning, green spaces there are in London, you wouldn't think you were in the capital famous for its pollution and hustle and bustle at all. Hampstead Heath has plenty of ponds (with cute cygnets at the moment) and there's Kenwood House for you to snoop into for free. And lastly, I wanted to share some recent climbing photos as I haven't taken any in so long. I can't believe it's been around two years since I started bouldering now; I go every week and it's such a good example of why exercise doesn't have to be boring. I posted a video of me doing a routine here if you're interested. And that's all from me for now. Let me know in the comments below any suggestions of places to visit/things to do next!
