- Sunday Summary: Smoothie Bowls, Circus & Shopping...

Hi all, it's time for another lifestyle post from me. The past few weeks have been tiring with me doing things most evenings after work, but I can't complain as I've had much needed catch-ups with friends and a little retail therapy.

To kick-start this post, I thought I'd share with you my favourite breakfast at the moment: smoothie bowls. This obsession derives from recently receiving a blender (previous post here) and being more health-conscious. I've noticed the more I've been getting into the gym, the more I see food as fuel and the importance of gaining nutrition. Below is an image of a green smoothie (spinach, ginger, banana, kiwi, lime) along with various toppings (strawberries, goji berry powder, pumpkin seeds, desiccated coconut, pomegranate, chia seeds, almonds).

You can see that my love for smoothies continues in the image above, featuring a berry version - yum! I finally got round to picking up a 2016 diary from Paperchase last week (only 2 and a half months late...); the colourful owl design makes the wait totally worth it.

I've been gallivanting around a lot for work lately, so was super grateful to receive this laptop sleeve* and clutch* from the STM Grace range. I love how chic they are as I often come across bland, boring tech accessories.

Speaking of roaming around a lot lately, I passed this building on my morning coffee run and couldn't help but stop and take a photo - how amazing?!...

As mentioned above, I've been feeling a little spendy lately and have been loving the SS16 ranges hitting the high street. New Look in particular has been catching my eye and I am so pleased they've ended my 1-2 year search for the perfect jumpsuit. The style, fit, colour, print; everything is just what I was after!

As well as this, I was getting fed up of leaving rings lying around and couldn't resist this cute elephant ring holder when I spotted it...

I knew the end of February would be a good time as I was counting down to see Cirque du Soleil - seriously guys, it's so good! The acts are so talented it's insane, like how do they do this stuff?! Plus, I have to mention the coinciding music - just awesome.

Oh hey, selfie. Yesterday, I got ready for a mini-reunion with the lovely Carolin and Serene. I'm going to let the images below speak for themselves as they show what we got up to, but it was a classic bloggers day out: coffee and cake stop, colourful London homes, outfit shoots and of course, a Lush visit.

Seriously, these two ladies are such gems and I'm so lucky to have them in my life- I don't think we stopped laughing all day :)!
