- Sunday Pamper: Merumaya Mud Marvels Mask...

Merumaya is a skincare brand I've known about for a while now and was lucky enough to hear in-depth about back in my earlier blogging days at the #BloggersSecretSanta14 event.

It seems 2016 is already a big year for them as I've been seeing a lot of new products coming to the market, such as a beauty oil, facial wash, gentle exfoliating toner and a mud mask. I was lucky enough to test out the Mud Marvels Mask* a few months ago and have been dying to share my experience with you.

Having dry and sensitive skin, I typically avoid clay/mud masks as I've found previous ones to be far too stripping. Due to this I've assumed such masks are for oilier skin, leading me to favour creamier formulas. However, when I read this mask contains nourishing oils to ensure there's no tightness, I thought I'd break free and give it a whirl.

The first thing I noticed about this mask is the vibrant blue tone it has; there really is something luxurious about it. Mud masks often lead to us looking like Shrek/a swamp monster, so this was a nice change. As well as this, the product itself smells super clean and fresh. I've always been a fan of the scent Merumaya products have, so I was happy this didn't disappoint.

As you can see below, a little goes a long way. The consistency is so thick it holds it's shape/structure, but it easily massages into skin. The combination of volcanic ash, charcoal and oils draws out dirt and brightens complexion without drying out the skin - I can confirm I've actually seen a noticeable difference since using this.

For £19.50 for 50ml (remember, only a little is needed), I'd say this is excellent value. If you're a dry skinned gal like myself, definitely give this a go!

Have you heard of Merumaya? Have you tried this mask before?
