- Degustabox: February'16...

Valentine's Day is over and Easter is fast approaching, so it seems Degustabox* have gone for an overall snack theme for their February box. This monthly food & drink box gets me excited each month to rediscover new items and rekindle my love for familiar ones.

At just £12.99 (inc. delivery), it's a great way to explore different products you might otherwise bypass. There's usually 9-14 surprise items, most of which are new to the market.

As always, Degustabox have kindly provided me with a discount code to share with you: simply type 'BLDEG15' when registering to get £6.00(!!!) off!

So let's see what they have to offer this time around...

Nutribix,RRP: £3.79

My days of eating cereal daily are over as I tend to reach more and more for porridge or eggs. However, now and then I don't mind it for a quick fix in the morning. That being said, I really struggle to find cereal that has a low sugar content. Thankfully these Nutribix have changed that as I was surprised to find these wholewheat, coconut concoctions truly are an overall healthy option. Containing 24 bricks this box will certainly last me a while - yum!

Mr. Kipling,RRP: £1.49
Beloved Dates, RRP: £0.50 (each)
Divine, RRP: £1.00 (each)

This image definitely spells out snacks galore. Mr Kipling are back with their new Exceedingly Good Slices. I got to give the cranberry, orange and oat flavour a whirl, and I'm definitely hooked. Next are some cereal bars from Beloved Dates - getting their name from the fact that they're bound with natural date nectar. The overall winner in my eyes though is the Divine chocolate. Oh my word, the caramel in these is on a whole new level!

The London Crisp Company,RRP: £2.29
Ritz, RRP: £2.19

Another gem in the February box are these Sweet Chilli crisps. The London Crisp Company sell their products in London pubs (doh if you live far away, but you can try them from this box), naming each flavour after a specific area of the capital. A fun idea and super tasty- gets a thumbs up from me!

Next are these Ritz Crisp & Thin. I absolutely adore the classic red box of Ritz and they were definitely a cupboard essential during my childhood, so seeing them expand is great. These snacks are halfway between crisps and crackers and are super moreish.

Hartley's 10 Cal Jelly Pots,RRP: £0.50 (each)
Hartley's Fruit in Jelly Pots, RRP: £0.70 (each)

Another one that takes me back to my childhood (hello, granny over here) are these Hartley's jelly pots! These were so fun to have again and the perfect snack to keep in the cupboard when you're after a bit of a pick-me-up.

Sarson's Malt Vinegar,RRP: £0.70

Chips without vinegar is like, idk, lipstick without liner, lattes without coffee art, Spring without pastels (ok you get my drift), so this Sarson's Malt Vinegar was a lovely addition - plus, how cute is the illustration?!

James White Drinks,RRP: £2.69
VitHit, RRP: £1.80
Nari Juice, RRP: £1.99

For the drinks of this box I received a large carton of carrot juice, which I'm keen to incorporate into a green smoothie sometime soon. There was also some Vit Hit, which apparently contains 100% recommended daily allowance of 8 different vitamins, and tasted good at the same time! Lastly, I'm saving the Coconut, apple and mint drink for when it's gin O'clock after a long day...

As you can see the February box is very snack-based, but I guess that's the theme they were going with. I prefer when there's a balance between snacks, drinks and cooking ingredients, but overall I can't complain as I don't dislike anything here. I have to admit I miss their more obvious themes - I have high hopes for their Easter box!

What do you think of this Degustabox? Don't forget, you can receive your first box for just £6.99 using the discount code above!
