- Sunday Summary: Pastel Houses, Selfies & Shopping...

Hi all, I hope you're well! I seem to be settling back into a blogging routine of posting every Sunday and Wednesday, with Wednesday posts typically beauty/fashion based and Sundays more life-y.

Which bring me to today's post: another Sunday summary!

Another Valentine's Day has been and gone and despite both me and Rob not being massive on it, we decided to have a day out anyway. We actually celebrated the weekend before as he was away on holiday on the actual day, which was actually great as the prices weren't bumped up and we avoided being surrounded by sloshy couples.

We wandered around central admiring landmarks and the Chinese lanterns in place for Chinese New Year, before going to Jamie's Italian and then watching Billy Elliot. It was actually our first time eating at Jamie's and I'm so glad we did. The restaurant in Victoria is open, spacious and tastefully decorated, as you can see in the images below.

We then headed to the Victoria Palace Theatre to watch Billy Elliot, which I'd been wanting to see for ages. I have to say Matilda remains my favourite, but it was still brilliant!

So when the 14th arrived and I was alone, I decided to head out on a run. The streets were literally empty (particularly rare for London) and the air felt so fresh (again, rare for London). I ended up being outside for 2-3 hours and just had to stop and take photos as I was going through Nottinghill. Pastel house appreciation, anyone?

I then returned to a cute graze* Valentine's box packed full with my favourite snacks of theirs *cough* a lot of flapjack *cough*...

I then did something I haven't done in a surprisingly long while: shopped. Being alone must have done something to me. Something like slipping into a shop and walking back out with new purchases - #noregrets

Obvs Lush had to be involved, especially after reading Nicole's recent haul - the ladybird & unicorn horn just had to be mine!

I then headed into H&M as I'm literally obsessed with their sportswear, it fits perfectly and is so affordable! Even better was that they now have an entire new range out, so I snapped up some funky patterned sports leggings.

I then picked up a few wardrobe 'essentials' from New Look & Primark - #monochromeforever!

Lastly, I randomly realised one day I hardly ever include a photo of myself in these summary posts, and then I took to my Instagram account and noticed I'm mysterious on there lately too.

So...

...here's ma face...

I hope you enjoyed reading this post and seeing what I've been up to! Let me know in the comments below!
