- Saturday Summary: Events, Beauty & Reunions...

I've been saying for months now that I want to add more lifestyle posts to my blog and with moving to London, it seems they're increasing. I have a few things planned over the next couple of weeks, so there will be a lot more posts like this in-between my typical fashion and beauty ramblings.

I had such a fun day yesterday, which included attending the recent CatalystPR event and dinner with a couple of uni friends. I took photos to summarise what I got up to, so I thought I'd share them with you - warning: picture heavy...

Me and the lovely Caz arranged to meet up bright and early for our dose of Bill's pancakes (seriously YUM). You might remember we first met in person at the Clothes Show Live and have seen each other a few times since, but it had been a while and it was so lovely to see her again and catch up.

We then headed to the famous flower spot outside Liberty (classic blogger style) and took a few outfit photos. We then wondered around a bit and found out another blogger, Tania, was also planning to attend the CatalystPR event so we waited for her to arrive.

After meeting, the three of us made our way to the location of the event (just behind Oxford Circus). We were all wowed at the venue and were instantly greeted with a warm welcome. I feel blogger events are often associated with negativity, but this one was literally faultless. There was more than enough refreshments (hello tasty Prosecco) and the overall environment was really relaxed and friendly.

Before attending, I researched the clients that would be there and was most excited about Steamcream and Dr. Paw Paw. It's safe to say they didn't disappoint, and nor did any of the other brands. Everyone made the time to talk through their products in-depth and were super generous with gifting samples. I can't wait to dig in and test out the products - reviews will be coming this way soon. I've not been to many events previously, but this was by far the best I've been to - hats off to CatalystPR and everyone involved.

I then went and met Rob, as we had organised to meet two of our uni friends for dinner in Edgware Road. We chose GOGI, a Korean Bar & Grill, which was a great experience as they cooked our food for us on-the-spot. The cooking method and using chopsticks were a great throwback, as they took me back to when me and Rob travelled around China.

After forming our food babies, we stumbled upon a wine bar named LV Lounge. This was such a hidden gem. The interior was amazing: sleek, stylish and comfortable, plus, the cocktail menu was a-mazing! I went for the 'After Dark' which is described as: 'the amaretto taste combined with the Coffee Kahlua & Crème de Cacao is a must for coffee lovers, served on the rocks' - YUM!

Overall, Friday was one of the best days I've had in a while. I was reunited with both Caz and uni friends, plus got to meet fellow blogger Tania who is honestly lovely. It was a day that reminded me how blogging friendships can be just as strong as those you make in 'real life'.
