- Sleek Bronze Block...
Thanks to Kim K, contouring is huge right now. I'm a big fan of using bronzer, blush & highlight, but really want to emphasise that they should be to enhance your features rather than change them. If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen me tweet 'less is more' when it comes to eyebrow products, and I feel the same applies to contouring. If you're pale like me, then the struggle is real. I cringe when I see my teenage self rocking the'muddy' look before going without bronzer for a few years. It wasn't until I discovered The Body Shop's Honey edition that I fell back in love, and it seems that I've stumbled upon another winner. Enter the Sleek Bronze Block in Light. Featuring three varying bronze shades and a pale pink, this dinky kit ticks all the boxes for me. All 4 shades have a matte finish which is what I look for in a bronzer, as I prefer to be in control with the level of shimmer when it comes to the highlighting stage. Thankfully, and most importantly, this product doesn't appear 'muddy' at all and it's easily blendable - super important for contouring! I would have preferred the pink to be slightly more pigmented, but I can't really complain as it provides a lovely subtle wash of colour. At just £7.49, this Sleek block is a real gem and one us pale girls don't have to run away from! (also available in dark)
(trying to get bronzer to show up on camera without looking like a clown is kinda hard...)
