- Heaven: All in One (Shave, Shower & Shampoo)...
Heaven products are something I've not tried before, nor heard much about. After browsing online, I was surprised at just how many products there are available. This range by Deborah Mitchell leans towards the more luxurious side of things and isn't limited to just skincare - there's even candles and incense available! As you can see, extra care is taken with the packaging which I think is really important for products like this. If a range is aiming to be perceived as high-end then it's vital for the packaging to portray this, and this Heaven product here does not disappoint. I was also pleased to see that this product has a pump which can be opened and locked; it disperses the right amount of product and makes application quick and easy.
All in One (Shave, Shower & Shampoo), £37* (150ml)
Containing key ingredients such as orange, sandalwood (one of my favourite scents) and rosemary, this is a real skincare gem. The scent is refreshing and in my opinion, zesty and citrusy notes are superior. I find the idea of a 3 in 1 product really intriguing, so I was interested in trying this out in order to assess its effectiveness for each purpose.
The overall texture is definitely most similar to that of a shaving cream. In fact, if the product had no label, I would instantly assume it was a shaving cream product and would remain unaware of its other uses. So how does this product perform overall?
Shave: After using this, my legs felt silky soft (more so than usual) and this has a lot to do with the ingredients which aim to soften the hairs for a closer shave. This would be a fantastic product for males to use when shaving their facial hair as it feels really gentle.
Shower: I've been loving using this as a shower gel as it forms a generous amount of foam and the awakening scent is perfect first thing in the morning.
Shampoo: I don't tend to apply toiletries that aim to be shower gels & shampoos in one to my hair as I find them a bit too soapy(?) and that they don't provide/lock in enough moisture. Unfortunately, this product didn't sway my view on this.
Despite being suitable for use by both males and females, this All in One is actually categorised under the 'His Heaven' section online and I can see why. As I previously mentioned, this would be a delight to use as a shaving cream on the face, the scent isn't feminine so wouldn't be off-putting to use as a shower gel, and the shampoo purpose definitely suits shorter hair better.
Overall, the concept of this is brilliant and it'd save a lot of space in you're packing when travelling and/or if you lack bathroom storage. In my opinion, it's a great shaving cream and shower gel, but as a shampoo it's not ideal for long, thick hair. At £37 this is pricey and there are a lot of cheaper alternatives out there, but if you want to treat a guy in your life with a 3 in 1 skincare treat then this gets a thumbs up from me!
Have you heard of this range before? What are your thoughts on this 3 in 1 product?
