- TOP 5: Affordable Workout Gear...

I know a lot of people posted about their New Year's resolutions, but I've never set myself a list of targets at the start of each year; I much prefer to set a goal here and there when I feel something really must change. I'm pretty sure I saw a fitness themed bullet point in everyone's list I read, and recently, I've really been thinking I need to up my fitness game. I wouldn't really class myself as a 'couch potato', but I'm nowhere near as fit as I used to be and in the past few days I've been finding it really frustrating.

Once I get into a routine, I actually really enjoy exercise and find it a great way to clear the mind. I'm a great believer that wearing the right workout gear is motivating and gets you in the right mindset. Comfort is key, but this doesn't have to mean boring, bland pieces. Adidas have recently released their StellaSport collection (which you can find in Topshop* and Next), and whilst their pieces are something a bit different, I find their prices a bit steep. Personally, I don't fancy paying a large amount of money for something I'm going to sweat like a pig into, AMIRITE? So, today I thought I'd show you my top 5 places to go on the high street for cheaper alternatives.

1. // 2. // 3. // 4. // 5. // 6.

H&M seem to have opted for a simpler, 'modern' look with their sportswear. Contrary to the popular neons, this range boasts plenty of pastel pieces. Also, if you're into yoga, I'd recommend checking out H&M as they have a lot of looser fitting items.

1. // 2. // 3. // 4. // 5.

George at Asda isn't a place I'd think of straight away to look for workout gear, but with their space dye prints and neon colours, they've been getting it right recently! The pieces here range from just £6 to £12 - bargain!

1. // 2. // 3.

Missguided Active was only released a few weeks ago, but it seems to already be getting the recognition it deserves. With a wide range of pieces boasting funky cosmic prints, Missguided Active ensures you remain stylish whilst working out.

1. // 2. // 3. // 4. // 5.

F & F at Tesco have vibrant, mixed print pieces in their F&F Active range. Like George, I wouldn't have thought to search here! Also, if you're into skiing they have a number of ski jackets, gloves etc to offer!

1. // 2. // 3. // 4. // 5.

Lastly, another range new to the scene is boohoo FIT. Whilst this collection currently doesn't have as much variety as others, the current pieces tick the box. With the use of mesh and unique cuts, boohoo FIT definitely has a certain 'edge'. This blue floral print has to be one of my favourites out there!

What do you think of these collections and my top picks? Let me know in the comments.
