My garden outfit posts seem to have returned, and today I wanted to show you this check blazer from M&Co that I recently won in one of their Twitter competitions. I don't know about you, but over the years I've tended to think of M&Co as a great place to buy towels and bedding, but they've really upped their fashion game recently and are worth checking out. Arriving just two days after I was announced as their winner, this blazer has rapidly become a firm favourite of mine!
Checks/grids have been a hugely popular print these past few months, particularly on jackets like this and trousers, and it's one that's staying. The ivory and black colours of this make it really wearable; I was actually surprised at just how versatile it is as it goes with most things in my wardrobe. In this post, I've decided to layer it with a casual outfit to provide a smarter edge. Years on, Topshop's Leigh jeans remain my go-to style and this aubergine pair add some colour to this outfit. To complete the look, I chose my patent Mary-Janes for a chic touch, et voila!
What do you think of this outfit? Are you a fan of check print?
