- BonjourHK: Asian Beauty Haul...

First things first, let's get one thing out of the way. That's a peach shaped hand cream, not a squishy boob for a frustrated adolescent. Sorry if I've disappointed.

Asian beauty bits are becoming more and more popular over here in the UK, and with over 24,000(!) products available and free shipping worldwide(!), BonjourHK has to be the best place to shop 'til you drop. With their quirky, cute packaging and super affordable prices, I love that such products are becoming so easy to access; I can't wait to show you a selection of Asian beauty goodies in this post!

WOWWOW Touch Up Cosmetic Brush Set, £13.40*
Etude House Puff & Brush Cleaning Mist, £3.55*

This WOWWOW 6 piece brush set comes with a lovely metallic compact case, making it perfect for your handbag. I'm so impressed with the quality of these brushes, the bristles are soft and the handles are sturdy with a matte black finish. I've found that brow brushes are often missed out from brush sets, so I was really pleased to see one included here. The only one I won't be using is the 'foundation' brush, as I'm personally not a fan of these flat brushes. I can't get over how amazing the prices on BonjourHK are, £13.40 for a decent brush set is such a bargain!

Along with the brush set, I was kindly sent this Etude House cleaning mist. I was excited to try this as I've never tried a product specifically for brush cleansing, I normally just use baby shampoo or coconut oil. This cleaning mist is perfect for when you're on the go and not near a sink, as no water is needed! You simply spray it directly onto the bristles and then gently wipe it onto some tissue (I use kitchen towel) until all dirt is removed and no residue is left.

Etude House My Castle Hand Cream, Ice Frozen, £4.20*
TonyMoly Peach Anti-ageing Hand Cream, £2.60*

Both of these hand creams are hands down (ho ho ho) perfect examples of just how amazing Asian packaging is. On the left is the Etude House Castle hand cream in Ice Frozen; there are numerous scents available including: Forever Rose, Pink Wish and Sweet Cookie. Ice Frozen is a lovely pastel blue shade and has a fresh floral scent. On the right is the TonyMoly peach hand cream, which has a much sweeter scent and really does smell like ripe peaches. Both hand creams are light-weight, fast absoring, and how can you not love the packaging?!

VOV Castledew Sparkling Pearl Powder Shadow, #2, £7.50*
Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler, £8.60*

This VOV Castledew shadow is perfect for a shimmery make-up look. It can either be sweeped across the lid for a glamorous evening look, or, thanks to the dinky applicator, dabbed into the inner-corners to brighten up the eyes. This one I have here is shade #2, which has tiny specks of gold shimmer. There are at least 7 different shades I can find on the BonjourHK website, so whether you're after a metallic gold, silver, pink or champagne colour, they seem to have it covered.

Next, are the Shu Uemura eyelash curlers - the top dog in the eyelash curling world. These curlers retail for £20 here in the UK, so the fact you can pick them up from BonjourHK for around £8 with free shipping and a spare refill is seriously amazing! My previous curlers broke over a year ago now and I never got round to picking more up, so I'm so happy to be reunited with these! Using eyelash curlers really does open up your eyes and make mascara more effective in my opinion.

Kao Steam Eye Mask, Lavender, £3.50*

Lastly, are these Kao Lavender eye masks. Asian beauty brands really do create the most amazing masks that are like no other over here in the UK. I love how they have ones not just for the face, for example, I've even seen some designed specifically for hands. These lavender eye ones are different from the eye masks I've seen floating about, as rather than having a cooling effect, they heat up! Similarly to thermal face masks, these are the perfect treat to wind down with and the lavender scent makes them extra soothing and relaxing. The ear hooks ensure they stay in place and the heat sensation lasts up to ~15 miniutes. You get 5 masks in a box, making them only £0.70 each!

What do you think of this selection of Asian beauty products? Make sure you check out BonjourHK for their impressive range of products!

  7. My one vice other than clothes is asian cosmetics - I definitely miss living in Korea and having all the shops so close to me, especially Etude House - such a princessy wonderland. Also I'd definitely suggest checking out their nail polishes, they're amazing. If you like the TonyMoly handcream, I suggest you try out the peach lipbalm, it's basically a mini version for your lips!

  29. Haha I love the stress boob, erm sorry the peach :) It looks very sweet and cute but you definitely have to look twice to identify it as a peach. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on these Asian beauty products. Asia is a bit of a mystery to me, you know when you meet something new and at first you're a bit shy. That's how I feel a bit about Asia. The makeup brushes look nice and for that price a real bargain. Stupid question from an inexperienced beauty blogger, what are Shu Uemura and why are they the master class of eyelash curlers? :/

  30. I tried some Asian brands. I don't like that many face products should whiten your face ... as I'm already pretty pale (: The brushes look nice

I do love seeing new brands and you're right Korean skincare is on the rise at the moment, they do have really pretty packaging which catches your attention but at the same time they take their beauty products seriously so hopefully this trend will be one to watch! :)
