- Lazy Days ft. Pedi-Sox

Happy weekend! I think it's super important to take a break from everyday life and have some "me-time". Most people seem to get caught up in their busy schedules and forget to just unwind. So, for today's post, I thought I'd show you my lazy day essentials.

Comfort:
Firstly, comfort is key! Get into your cosiest PJs, light a few candles, make a hot chocolate and surround yourself in blankets and cushions. If you're feeling extravagant, you could make a blanket fort (think "The Holiday").

Pamper:
Once you've sorted out your set-up, it's time for some indulgence. I like to apply a face mask; I've recently been loving the My Beauty Diary citrus sheet masks* as they feel super refreshing.

Next, it's time for a pedicure. Pedi-Sox are the perfect solution to prevent your tootsies getting cold during this. If you look on their website, you will see there are a vast range of colours and patterns available. Each sale of the Pink Ribbon* ones (£9.00) I have here raises money for Breast Cancer Research Organisations. Before putting on Pedi-sox, I apply a generous about of Sofspa Cream* (£10.00). This is a rich, intensive cream that leaves feet moisturised due to ingredients such as Rosehip, Olive seed and Sunflower seed. When I'm after extra silky soft skin, I do the old trick of leaving Pedi-sox on overnight. The nail shade in the images above is Rimmel's 291 Urban Princess (did that name make anyone else severely shudder?). I think being able to paint your toenails whilst wearing socks is such a great idea, plus there's no risk of polish smudging!

Relax:
Now you're feeling preened and polished, it's time to fully relax. I like to either read a book, browse some magazines, or watch a good TV series. If you follow me on Twitter/Instagram, you would have seen that I recently decided to rewatch Desperate Housewives. All I'm saying is: Best. Decision. EVER!

Will you be having a weekend pamper? What do you think of Pedi-sox?

  9. I definitely need a pair of these socks, the main thing that stops me re-painting my toenails is how cold it is! I'm loving the pink polish :) xx
