- JIGOTT Essence Moisture Skin Care 3 Set...

With the colder weather settling here in the UK and increased exposure to central heating, extra effort needs to be taken to banish dry Winter skin. I have dry skin all year round, so this time of year is a particular struggle to keep skin moisturised. Enter this Jigott Essence Moisture Skin Care set £52 now £24*.

Asian cosmetic online store, Bonjourhk, kindly sent me this set to try out which I was super pleased about as it's specifically targeted towards dry & sensitive skin. Whilst browsing their website, I discovered there's a huge range of Jigott skin care sets available such as Acaiberry, Greentea and even Snail Moisture which seems to be hugely popular over in Asia and it's popularity seems to be gradually spreading here in the UK (thoughts in the comments?)!

This 3-piece skin care set includes a 150ml Essence Moisture Toner, 150ml Essence Moisture Lotion, 60g Active Emulsion Cream and travel sizes (30ml) of the toner and moisture lotion. The packaging of this set is seriously stunning and the thick glass used makes it have a luxurious feel! I've been making an extra effort with skin care this year so I was super excited to try each product out!

ESSENCE MOISTURE TONER The first thing I noticed about this toner was it's divine scent. It's not too overpowering, just really fresh and spa like? This product aims to make skin healthy & lively, and soothe any irritation. I applied a few drops onto a cotton pad, rubbed it into skin using delicate circular motions and noticed how gentle it felt on.

ESSENCE MOISTURE LOTION This lotion is a slightly thinner consistency from what I'm used to and although it's perhaps not the quickest to absorb, once it had, it left my skin feeling so much smoother. This lotion contains hyaluronic acid, which is a natural moisturiser known to restore the skin's flexibility and make it clean & healthy. Whilst I love the look and feel of the packaging, this product was difficult to access and I think perhaps a pump would make things a lot easier. Having said that, this lotion performs excellently and sits well under make-up.

ACTIVE EMULSION CREAM As you can see from the image, this cream is a lot thicker in consistency and I've been using it at night-time. This cream contains many active nutrients which aim to provide skin with moisture and give it a healthy shine. I'm really impressed with this cream as it absorbs surprisingly well and feels a treat to use!

Overall, I am really pleased with this skin care set and use the products on a regular basis. I also think it's such a great idea to provide travel mini's! Don't forget to check out Bonjorhk and give them a follow on Twitter @bonjourhk.

What do you think of this skin care set?
