- Olay CC Cream...

Olay Tone Correcting CC Cream*

Never have I seen a product that looks like this. Perfect swirls of white & beige resembling a majestic Mr Whippy. I had no idea what to expect with this product; all I knew was that I couldn't wait to try it!

After the huge rage for BB creams, it's become apparent that CC creams are the next big thing. Standing for 'colour correcting', these creams aim to reduce redness and balance out skin tone.

BonjourHK, who ship Asian beauty goodies worldwide, kindly sent me this Olay version. I've heard of Olay but I've never seen this product here in the UK before so was extra intrigued! As you can see from the images above, the product is pumped out in a swirl made up of it's separate segments (I'm guessing the white is the moisturising element?) so I then blended it together. At first, I thought the product looked a little orange on my hand, but fear not, as I soon learnt that a little goes a long way and it looked fine on my face.

I've been wanting to try a CC cream for ages so this came at the perfect time! I have dry skin so countless foundations emphasise flaky areas and can appear cakey, so I couldn't wait to try something a bit lighter. I dabbed it onto my face and used my Spectrum Foundation brush to stipple it in. The outcome? I honestly cannot express how pleased I am with the results! My skin feels so fresh and this product is so lightweight it feels as if I'm wearing moisturiser alone! It really provides my skin with a glow and an added bonus is the SPF15!

If, like me, you've never seen this CC cream in the shops before, I couldn't recommend it enough! Thank the internet for online shopping!

Are you a fan of CC creams? Have you checked out BonjourHK?

  10. I use this too but I use it like a moisturiser and put foundation on top of it :) i find it makes my foundation look 10x better and gives me a flawless complexion. I've been this in Boots and Asda and it retails for £24.99 which is a bit pricy but you can find it on Amazon for around £12 :) great review! x

  15. I heard that in Korea, they have quite pale BB and CC creams and so I was really excited to try them... But when I got there, I couldn't find one white enough for me! Fair enough, because I am SERIOUSLY pale, even by white-people standards! Anyway... that was a boring story for you...

  33. I love CC Creams. BeautyUK does an amazing CC Cream, but their colour range isn't extensive, with only 3 colours available. Which is a shame really.
