- Merumaya Integrative Effective Skincare...

You may have seen that a week or so ago, I attended the #BloggersSecretSanta14 event in Nottingham where the lovely Lekha visited and spoke to us about Merumaya skincare. When I first heard Merumaya was going to be one of the brands at the event, I was super excited as I was left majorly impressed after using samples of their cleanser & serum a few months back, and was keen to learn more about the brand.

During her presentation, Lekha asked how many of us had tried/heard of Merumaya products. Only a few of us raised our hands which genuinely surprised me as I've seen and heard a lot about this brand recently, especially from well known beauty bloggers such as ReallyRee, Essie Button & Lily Pebbles. This urged me to create this post as I want to share these amazing skincare products with you all!

Merumaya Overnight Recharge Night Cream, £33.50*

The range of products available covers each step of your skincare routine with products such as the popular Melting Cleansing Balm and Iconic Youth Serum, as well as the Skin Brightening Exfoliating Peel and Pure Radiance Mask to name just a few, and most recently is the Overnight Recharge Night Cream. Founded in 2012 by Maleka Dattu, (who, if you give a quick google has an amazingly successful career in the cosmetics industry) this brand is named 'Merumaya' from joining segments of names from her close family - something her father always wished for.

Created & manufactured in the UK with the use of scientifically evidence-based active ingredients, these products certainly feel luxurious both in the packaging and once applied. Consisting of extensively researched ingredients, this night cream contributes to hydrating, protecting, repairing and firming skin. It is recommended to use the Overnight Recharge Night Cream after your evening cleanse & serum application. After massaging this on, I can confidently say my skin immediately felt so soft - literally silky smooth! I even had to resist stroking my face so much! Not only this, but I've definitely noticed in the past few days my skin looking a lot more awake, radiant and definitely feeling more moisturised!

After using up samples and trying out this full-size night cream, I am honestly left amazed. The results, scent, texture, packaging - I can't find a fault in anything! The scent definitely adds to the luxurious feel to the products which I personally love. I can't think of a realistic way to describe it so if you tend not to use scented skincare products, I'd recommend you test these out in your local John Lewis store to see if they're to your taste.

This brand genuinely excites me and for healthier looking skin, I couldn't recommend it enough; I'll definitely be purchasing the rest of their full-size products in the near future! Merumaya is available to purchase in-store or online at John Lewis.

Have you heard of Merumaya before? Be sure to read further information on their website here.

  15. I will have to hunt these out in a John Lewis to give them a go. I love the packaging and design of the cream and from what you have described they could bring my skin back to life. It really suffers in the winter Lucy x

  16. I've personally never heard of this brand, maybe it's because it's not a brand we have here in the US, but it seems like a high quality brand that works! Thanks for the review! Mckenzie

  18. I've not heard of this brand, oops! But sounds like they're pretty good. The night cream sounds awesome, I'm just always a bit reluctant to spend that much on a moisturiser or night cream as I don't suffer with dry skin so would rather spend money on serums :)
