- Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Range...

I'll shamefully admit that my hair care routine is lacking. I've never been particularly fussy about which products I use to wash my hair, in fact if a bottle is labelled with 'shampoo' or 'conditioner' then that's enough for me. That's until I tried the new release from Herbal Essences - the Clearly Naked range.

Boasting zero parabens, dyes or silicone, this collection is taking things back to basics to give tired hair a boost. There are three scents in the collection (white tea & mint, white grapefruit & mint and herbal mint fusions), each focusing on providing hair with either shine, volume or moisture. As you can see from the images above, I have the shine version which contains White Tea & Mint.

Whilst I'm not a huge fan of the taste or smell of mint, I was surprised how much I liked the scent of these. The white tea balanced out the mint enough to avoid it being too overpowering. I didn't really have any expectations before I applied these, to me they were just another shampoo & conditioner, but I was left seriously impressed with the results. As soon as I rinsed off the products, my hair was literally squeaky clean and felt so soft afterwards. There was also noticeably less frizz, and I can confirm that they left my hair really shiny!

For someone who doesn't tend to mind what they use in their hair, I'll definitely be swaying more towards this range from now on. As well as a shampoo & conditioner, there is also a dry shampoo available which I'd love to try!

Have you tried anything from the Clearly Naked range? Let me know in the comments.

  6. Sounds really good and I am happy that it works for you, but my aunt's friend got bald patches after using Herbal Essences products so I am always staying away from them. I know it's not a rule, it's just the association I have with the brand now is not so good. ;)

  14. I love herbal essences already but this post has definitely made me want to try out these minty ones! I'm not a huge fan of mint either so would usually be put off but sounds like it's not an overpowering smell!

Hopefully I spot these on my next supermarket trip :)

  20. Oh oh ohhhh I didn't know they came out with a more natural shampoo/conditioner! I'll have to give this a try and see how it works for me. I hope it works well, as they are more affordable products than my currents.

  21. I am the same I don't really bother with my shampoo or hear routine and really should. I have tried shampoos with no sulphur in which are much kinder on the hair. These sound interesting products I will have to give them a go Lucy x

  23. I like the sound of this shampoo! Just like you I never quite mind what I put in my hair, but i like that this is all natural and stripped of any chemicals and such. And less frizz and more shine than usual? Bonus! And the idea of a mint and tea concoction sounds lovely. I'll definitely be trying this once my Pantene bottle runs out :)

  30. I've seen these around quite a bit but then put them down thinking they wouldn't be any good, it's quite hard to find a decent shampoo without all the bad stuff in it! I might give these a go next time :) xx
