- Pixi Flawless & Poreless Translucent Primer...

Pixi Flawless & Poreless No.1 Translucent Primer £20.50*

Primers are a product I've really been getting into recently. With a Benefit Porefessional sample nearly coming to an end, I was looking forward to trying out this primer by make-up brand Pixi.

Firstly, I love the pastel shade Pixi's products come in and how pretty each item looks. Although this primer didn't make my face feel as silky smooth as the Porefessional upon application, I found it to be way more effective. It's claims to hide pores and increase make-up longevity were confirmed; even in hot, sunny weather! Another plus with this product is that there's zero fragrance, which I can sometimes find off-putting.

This primer really does provide a great base for foundation and is suitable for all skin types. It can be purchased here from HQ hair for £20.50, which I think is a great price as 30ml will last a while!

Have you tried this product or anything else from Pixi?

  4. May have to look this up on payday! I thought the price tag was a bit intimidating at first but I guess you really do get what you pay for with high end products. Thanks for commenting on my blog btw and thank you for sharing this :)

  5. I've always been tempted to try Pixi but have never gotten around to it - this primer might be a good start! I'm in the same boat as you with my POREfessional sample, so I do desperately need a new primer!

  6. I'm new to primers, I'm on my first Maybelline soft gel primer and will definitely try other brands as I think they really enhance the final look. Great review xx

  7. This sounds like my kind of product, always looking to try new primers that promise to blur pores (and mattifying is always a nice touch for us oily skinned girls). Thanks for your thoughts on this one by Pixi. :-)

  13. I've never tried Pixi makeup and am not such a fan of primers as the ones I've tried can make my skin look a bit 'fake'.. which is exactly what Porefessional did to me, so I think this sounds far more up my street!
