- Delarom Aquaconfort Cream...

Delarom Aquaconfort Cream £34*

As a sufferer of dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin, I'm constantly on the look out for skincare which provides moisture. Delarom Aquaconfort Cream claims to refresh, shield against dehydration and maintain moisture levels so I decided to give it a whirl.

However, let's just say I was left disappointed as I think my skin is too sensitive for this product. Immediately after application I felt a slight burning sensation and red blotches appeared on my face. This reaction only lasted a few minutes, but I'm afraid to say it was enough to put me off using it again.

I don't want to be too negative though as this could be the perfect product for you if you have dry skin which isn't sensitive. Positive points are the sleek packaging, the rate it absorbed and it's lovely, fresh scent.

This cream can be purchased here or here for £34. If your skin needs hydrating you might want to give this a go; ingredients include organic aloe vera, jojoba butter and sweet almond & apricot kernel oils!

Have you tried this product? How did you get on with it?

  1. I have never heard of Delarom before but their packaging is lovely!
I have so much trouble finding moisturisers that are moisturising enough but not too strong on my skin. It's made me head towards Kiehl's and Balance Me (which isn't good for my bank balance!)

  3. It might have been the aloe vera that flared up your skin; it is a natural antiseptic so can irritate sensitive skin at first - but it's just trying to get rid of all the impurities in your pores, so if you carry on using it you may find it gets better. I use 99% aloe vera gel as my moisturiser and it used to make my skin red/blotchy, but I've been using it for over a year now and it's done wonders!

  4. Hi Karen,

Great post! I once worked for a British brand called Cutagen (skincare) and some of our bloggers who've tried the products had similar reactions and problems. Sometimes the cremes contain ingredients to which you might be allergic. Anyway sorry to hear it didn't work out for you.

  10. Oh no! Sorry to hear your experience wasn't good! I'm glad you left an honest review though - too many people these days will say something is good just for the sake of it but I think honesty is key :)

Hopefully you find something soon that will be good for the sensitive skin - do let me know if you do!

  12. That is such a shame! So annoying spending lots of money on a product and it not working, or worse not agreeing with you! I hope you find something better that hydrates your skin :)

  17. I've never heard of this brand, the packaging is lovely though. I don't have sensitive skin but whenever I use benzoyl peroxide, my whole skin goes red and patchy haha!

  18. What a shame, it might be because of the essential oils in it I think!
