- GEMPORIA: Stylish, Ethically Sourced Jewellery...
For today's post, I am going to share with you recently founded jewellery brand Gemporia, and I couldn't be more excited! Founded in 2013, it has already received substantial press coverage and I can see why! Not only do the pieces ooze class, but more importantly, Gemporia are a highly ethical brand! With his wife, Sarah, focusing more on design work, founder Steve Bennett places a huge effort on sourcing some of the highest quality gems from across the world. With developing communities housing some of nature's most precious beauties, it is essential that these benefit too. Luckily, Steve also sees how critical this is and has made sure Gemporia give back as much as possible, for example, by supporting countless charities and by setting up The Equal World Foundation in 2012. Along with this major value of Gemporia's, affordability is also key as they strongly believe in offering amazing prices to you guys for high quality pieces! They kindly let me choose an item from their website to share with you, and as a lover of Rose Gold this wasn't difficult! As you can see below, I chose this Rose Gold Plated Chain Necklace (here) as I absolutely love the detailing on it! In my opnion, most of Gemporia's pieces are suitable for adding a touch of elegance to an outfit, particularly for a Summer's evening which is how I styled this necklace below. Having said that, it would also look great worn in the day time teamed with a collared shirt!
18" Rose Gold Plated Sterling Silver Vortex Herringbone Chain £22* (here)
Gemporia have a phenomenal range of products available, I could have seriously spent hours browsing their website! I thought I'd share with you my favourite pieces I came across below, including rings, necklaces & bracelets (they also have earrings but I'm one of those rare ones who don't have their ears pierced..).
White Quartz £7 // Pink Cultured Pearl £14 // Mystic Peacock Quartz £17 // Swiss Blue & White Topaz £17 // Tourmalinated Quartz £20.
Neon Apatite Sterling Silver Bead £17 // 'The Rose' £22 // Gold Plated Leaf Necklace £26 // Chalcedony Sterling Silver £33.
Rose Gold Plated £9 // Freshwater Cultured Pearl Leather £11 // 'Infinity' Elastic Interlock £40 // Mystic Blue Passion Topaz £64.
Overall, I am majorly impressed by this brand. I love it's ethos and how every item is paired with a description informing you of where the featured gem or mineral is sourced. It's little touches like this that mean a lot! Check out their website here and I can guarantee you'll find something you love!
What do you think of these pieces? Are you loving them as much as I am?
