Spring for me means goodbye to dark, vampy colours and hello to floral, pastel shades. My fondness of floral patterns increased even more when I discovered boohoo’s wide range of floral items. Seriously, any type of clothing item you're currently wishing for, boohoo most likely have it in floral pattern. You can check out their selection here. Here is the outfit I styled based on their current items. As well as floral prints, I managed to incorporate other trends i’m a fan of, such as fresh white and pastel shades.

Firstly, how gorgeous is this ditsy printed pastel kimono? Kimonos are popular right now and i’m definitely in favour of this trend. This one in particular is perfect as I love the pattern, colours and cropped cut. I teamed it with a plain, white cropped top and this lovely skort. Skorts are a trend I remain a huge fan of and i’m pleased they’ve continued to be huge into spring/summer. This one from boohoo has a lovely texture which I think looks great with the kimono, and I love the zip detail. For footwear, I chose these jelly sandals for all you 90’s throwbacks out there. I opted for lilac as I thought this brought out the lilac in the kimono.

For accessories, I wanted to enhance the floral trend so selected this amazing white rose head piece. Floral crowns seem to be popular every year and 2014 seems to be no different. For something a bit different, I also discovered these floral anklets which I think are a lovely extra touch. Lastly, this clutch bag has a wonderful flower detail which I think really compliments the entire outfit.

Overall, this is the perfect outfit for a festival, holiday or simply a casual summer's day! Boohoo's collections are strong right now and I could have easily styled several more outfits using their items. Are you a fan of florals? What’s your favourite piece from this outfit?

  13. Cracking blog I must say. I know this post is about women's floral prints, but I might even try and find a floral patterned shirt. I agree with the pastel colours for summer, can't beat a good ode duck egg blue jumper to brighten up a chilly summers evening.

Keep up with the good work :)
