- The Fishtail Braid...

As you can see, I have very thick, long hair. In order to keep my hair out of the way, i've recently been doing a side fishtail braid instead of simply shoving it all up into a ponytail. I love how this looks super stylish and can be achieved very easily!

For those that don't know, the fishtail braid is achieved by separating hair into two sections, rather than the three used in the typical braid. There are many youtube tutorials out there and with a bit of practise, it can be mastered quickly! Don't forget to mess up the braid afterwards as this gives it a more casual, effortless look.

Do you like this hairstyle?

  7. I love this hairstyle...but I'm still working on how to...y'know....do this braid! (I have like, 0% mastery of putting my hair in anything but a ponytail/bun, so excuse me while I spend hours on Youtube!)

  8. I really like fishtails! I used to do them all the time but now my hair is layered, the other side tends to just fall out of it..

    1. Aw no :( Maybe use a grip/bobby pin to secure a few bits & then leave some loose as I think this hairstyle looks better more casual :) x
